I was born and raised in Greenwood, Mississippi and earned a Mass Communications
degree from Jackson State University. My career started with the Clarion-Ledger newspaper in 1999, and I left as
an education reporter in 2003. Then I spent a little over a year at Jackson State University as a Creative Writer in the university's
public relations office. Currently, I am still a public relations professional in the government sector.
My
passion for fiction work began when I started writing short stories at age nine. Over the years, I have written
more than 400 news articles, press releases, media advisories and feature stories for various publications. After
years of procrastination, I finally decided to commit to completing my first novel that will be ready for release this fall
(and possibly sooner). After much prayer, I feel that God has led me to tell the story that you will read about in a few months.
I can't wait to share what I feel that God has given me to share. It's my hope that this novel will entertain, as
well as encourage people to learn or testify/relate to the awesome things God can do in one's life when
we're ready to receive His blessings, His love and His direction for our lives.
Be blessed and visit the site
again soon, as I will be updating this site regularly with important information for you to know how to receive
my debut novel of Make Me Whole and my plans to visit some cities to promote the book!
In the meantime, I just wanted to let you know that my first work of fiction will make its debut in 2008! So,
please bookmark this site and come again!
